About
Founder of Dear Grey Elle
Maker • Mother • Dreamer
Welcome. I’m Lisa — an artist by training and by heart, a maker of many things, and a mother of two who’s always been drawn to the quiet poetry of everyday life.
Dear Grey Elle was born from a season of reflection, a gentle unraveling of what once was, and the tender shaping of what could be. For the past 15 years, I’ve poured my heart into building two successful clothing brands — the most recent, Mien Studios, a 10-year journey that taught me resilience, beauty, and the weight of meaningful work. Closing that chapter is bittersweet. It holds both pride and tenderness. But in its place, something new and deeply personal is beginning to bloom.
The name Dear Grey Elle is a love letter to my children, Grey and Elle. They are the heartbeat of everything I do. Through their eyes, I’ve learned to slow down and appreciate the small things — how light fills a room, how sharing a meal can bring us closer, and how real growth often happens quietly, over time.
Here, I share the rituals and rhythms that shape our days:
slow meals from my Taiwanese-American heritage,
wellness routines rooted in strength and softness,
our flower and vegetable garden in bloom,
and the quiet joys of motherhood, creativity, and reinvention.
I write for the women who are navigating change, for the mothers carving space to dream, for the creatives learning to rest and rise again. Dear Grey Elle is an invitation — to live intentionally, to create from a place of wholeness, and to honor the beauty in becoming.
Thank you for being here. I’m so glad we’ve found each other.
With heart,
Lisa
